These streets will make you feel brand new

Ahhhh, it's officially March yet the snow is STILL falling.

This past weekend Josh and I ventured up to New York City to visit with some of our best pals in the whole wide world. It was such a blast! Although, it is so apparent to me how much I cannot hang when multiple nights of booze are involved. I used to be a champ. It's embarrassing really.

There is something so special about being in the city. The energy, the never-ending places to explore, people to meet, things to do. Or you could never leave your couch and order anything you want to your door step. I'm not sure which is cooler. Either way, it's perfect.

Saturday night we went to see Young the Giant play and they were absolutely incredible. I can guarantee that because I was dead sober. At a concert. Yet again, embarrassed.
If you've never listened to them I highly recommend! The lead singer's voice and dance moves are swoon worthy.

We we're planning on staying an extra day to watch the Oscars with everyone and pig out all day long but the snow sent us home early. Which I ended up being grateful for because I missed my little gal so much!!!!!

They talk about separation anxiety for babies but what about for us parents?!!!!!
It's so hard!

I guess it is all worth it when you walk in the door and their little faces light up :)

I hope you all had a great 1st weekend of March! Hopefully Spring weather will be upon so soon. This winter has been rough for sure. We deserve some chirping birds, blooming flowers and sun-tinted skin.
