Weekend recap + favorite Etsy finds

Happy Monday everyone :)
I hope it hasn't been too painful for you.

We had a wonderful weekend over here and lucked out with some fantastic weather! Saturday we headed downtown to the Cantina Marina on the waterfront and it was perfect. They were hosting a fundraiser that night with a catered buffet so we weren't able to try their food but the view and island feel alone are enough to recommend it!

We made our way to the Kennedy Center for the Jerry Seinfeld show. I absolutely loved it. If you're a Seinfeld fan you'll love it too. We could relate to lots of his jokes about his kids and he went on a 10 minute stint about his discovery of pop tarts back in the day. My cheeks hurt I was laughing so hard. Such a great show!

On Sunday we dragged ourselves out of bed and headed to the Chesapeake Bay up in Maryland for a day of fishing and boozin! Our weekend was full of beachy bars which I was loving. We had lunch (and bloody marys, of course) at the Hard Yacht Cafe before heading out on the boat. I've been a Virginia gal my whole life but I will hand it to Maryland on their bloody marys... the old bay rim is just perfection. They had great live music all day and tons of outdoor seating right on the dock. The perfect vibe for a sunny day.

We fished on the water for 3 hours. We only caught small fish so we didn't have much luck with finding our dinner but we all had a great time!

Since I announced that I'll be joining the Etsy community in the next couple of weeks (read more here) I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite items I've discovered in other shops.

There's been a bit of a joke among my friends that every time I get someone a gift, 99% of the time it comes from Etsy. And they are spot on about that! I feel like hand made gifts are so special and also love to support small businesses around the country. It just feels more personal to me!

Mason bar tumbler - I love using mason jars while at home but tumblers are just so much easier for traveling, avoiding spills and keeping baby hands out of your drink. This product makes every mason jar into just that.. a mason jar tumbler! The Mason Bar Company is based out of California and they've got tons of colors for you to choose from, sizes and even mason jar knit coozies. I use this every day.. no joke.

Hello world onesie - Hen and Co. has quickly become one of my favorite shops on Etsy. You can find really fun baby onesies there (including adorable holiday ones), home decor prints, wedding prints, personalized invitations and more! Ob-sessed.

Friday, I'm in love tshirt - This is one of my favorite shirts of Hadley's right now and I want it in my size. Mama Case Prints has lots of fun designs and the material is so freakin' soft, your babes will be so comfy!

Queens, NY map print - I purchased this map as a gift for a friend and immediately wanted one for myself. Good thing he has a DC one! Mr. City Printing features tons of cities across the States and around the world.

Bird ring holder - I really love birds in home decor so this ring dish jumped right out at me. It's small enough to fit on the smallest of sinks but can hold all your favorite rings. You can find it at Darrielle's Clay Art shop.

Fall style bows - Sadie Sky Boutique has some of the cutest baby bows and headbands. She has tons of leather options, which are super cute for fall!!

Personalized stamped rings - I wear my initial stamped rings from Laurel Treasures every day. I bought one for my sister, mom and girlfriend because I love them that much. Right after we decided on Hadley's name I ordered an "h" one. I can't wait to add some more stackable rings one day ;)

Home brew kit - Urban Brewery sells tons of home brew beers kits that you can make right on your stove. As beer brewing newbies, this was so perfect because they give you every piece of equipment you need and instructions! Such a perfect gift for the beer lover in your life.

Gold chevron necklace - Lunahoo makes beautiful and delicate jewelry that's perfect for casual or dressy occasions. The pieces are a little pricey but definitely last the test of time.

Baby girl's geometric print dress - Swallows Return makes some of the most beautiful children's clothing I've ever seen!!! I'm obsesssssed with this dress on Hadley and will most likely order it in every size possible so she can wear it forever. I also love their swan shorts!

I want to have adventures with you print - This is one of the first things I purchased for Hadley's nursery last year. It's so fun and perfect for any room in the house! Tumble Root has other great prints (including this one for your home bar!) and clothing.

I'll be sure to keep you updated on any other Etsy shops I find that I can't get enough of! There are so many creative and talented people out there, it is truly unbelievable!

I hope you all have a great day... keep on grindin'!!
