Ahhh, Labor day has come and gone.
In my mind that means Summer is over and the Fall season is offish on it's way.
My little brother and sister started school today. Kylie is heading to her first day of 4th grade and Dylan to his first day of Middle School.. I can barely believe it! Hadley is now 15 months old and I'll be turning 26 next month. WOWZERS. I know I say this all the time but where does the time go? Like, really?!
We made it home last night after some grueling traffic across the Bay Bridge, which came with a seriously unhappy toddler. I don't think I've ever seen her so hyper and happy to be out of her car seat and back home! She was so full of energy she stayed up until 10pm and spent most of the night yelling and singing to us. It was hilarious.
We had so much fun at Ocean City and are SOOO happy to report that Hadley finally made peace with the sand!!!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!
She wanted to explore the entire beach.. which kept us from getting much relaxation time but we're happy our little social butterfly enjoyed herself. We swam in the ocean and took a nice big wave to the face, built and destroyed some sand castles, made friends with someone who brought a kiddie pool (genius) and basked in the sun.
I even got to finish the book I've been reading, Wild by Cheryl Strayed, and I highly recommend it! Such an inspiring story and the movie will be out later this year.
my suit, on sale today!
We're back to real life which means lots of unpacking, laundry and work.
I'm also back on the grind for the Etsy shop and hope to have that baby open this month!!
I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend.
