Happy Sunday friends :)
It has FINALLY stopped raining here in Washington, DC. THANK YOU MOTHER NATURE, MY GOD. This whole week has been so dreary and my energy level has been at about a -7, which is horrible this time of year when my to do list is like a zillion miles long. So many holiday things to do!!
Luckily, we didn't have any plans this weekend so we've spent it cleaning and breaking out all our festive decorations. Most of them are still in boxes but we did manage to get our tree up! Which is all that matters, RIGHT?!
Anyways, lets continue to get in the spirit shall we?!
I've been seeing tons of baller holiday DIYs all over the internet and I thought they needed to be shared with you all. Here are some of my current favorites...
Every year, more and more DIY wreath tutorials pop up. One of my all time favorites is still the ornament wreath. I love being able to choose my own colors and go a little crazy with the glue gun! This tutorial is from Live Love DIY.
I also love this monogram holly wreath by Our Unexpected Journey.
Two words, folks.. NO SEW. A Beautiful Mess delivers (as always) brilliant and beautiful DIY projects, including these three no-sew tree skirts. Peep the tutorial here.
This glitter Rudolph canvas is a super simple DIY I whipped up 2 days before Christmas last year. It is beyond perfect for your mantel or adding some festiveness to your gallery walls. There are also tons of printables so you can make your own snowman, christmas tree, Menorah... whatever strikes your fancy!
You can find all the details in the tutorial here.
Rosemary is one of my all time favorite herbs. It's delicious, smells AHmazing and looks beautiful as wreath place cards for Christmas dinner! Get the deets here at Spoon Fork Bacon.
I spied these little gems on Pinterest last year and think they're such a great way to capture memories from all those small ass apartments you ever lived in or the first place you ever shared with an actual boy. I couldn't find the exact source for these but here's a tutorial on how to make your own clay ornaments at Craft Snob.
These would be super cute with some gold leafing or glitter around the edges!
Make your own gold, geometric ornaments with this tutorial at A Beautiful Mess.
And for the advanced crafter with some power tools handy.. this snowflake light-up marquee is AWESOME. Yet again, brilliance delivered from A Beautiful Mess.
And in case you don't feel like buying gift tags this year, A Pair & A Spare is offering these free printable tags just for you! We can call printing and writing DIY, can't we?!
Now get your glue guns, glitter and fabric ready to go. There's still so much crafting time left in this beautiful Sunday ;)
[Sober] cheers to you and yours!
