36 weeks

Hiya friends!

I am a pretty happy camper over here. The weather has FINALLY begun to warm up and I loved having more sunshine last night! It did leave us a little out of wack this morning, but anything that means Summertime is coming is okay in my books.

Today our baby girl has been cookin' for 36 weeks.

Overall, I've been feeling really good. My third trimester has been riddled with more pee breaks than anyone should have to take, lots of joint and hip pain and even more waddling. Some times it feels like her head is sitting right on my pelvic bone, which does feel an awful lot like the "bowling ball between my legs" thing. But other than that, I've had another smooth pregnancy... which I feel really, really thankful for.

My cravings haven't been anything too extreme.. mostly just chocolate and baked goods which is pretty typical when I'm not with child. The only difference I've noticed this time around is a new obsession with coffee ice cream. I don't know how I lived so long without it.

This trimester has also brought back my mood swings that I felt in the 1st trimester. This pregnancy seems different in that way from my pregnancy with Hadley. I'm not so much a crying mess as I am quick to lose my temper SO EVERYONE BETTER LOOK OUT, I'M COMING FOR YOU!!!!

It's crazy to think that she could decide to come any day now and change our worlds. I'm equal bits nervous and excited about the delivery. If there's one thing I try to remind myself it's that the world of birthing babies is never predictable!

We've made some progress in the nursery. This week we're getting the new crib,  rocker and curtains. I've got lots of art to hang and just can't wait to see it all come together :) Next up, I'll be pulling out the good ole breast pump and washing all those parts and bottles. I've been reading The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding in hopes that it'll give me some new tools and guidance this time around. Nursing Hadley was probably the most challenging part of the entire experience for me so I've been having some trouble looking forward to it this time around. I think finding a positive attitude will be the first step in success so here's to that!

We can't wait to meet you baby girl... not much longer until we can hold you in our arms and gaze at your sweet, sweet face!!!!

We love you so much already!!!!
