Spring fever & baby prep

Helloooooo my party people!

The sun is shining, the high is predicted at 68° and my child is sleeping without a PEE-AYE-SEE-EYE right now!!!!!! I can't even type the word on the internet in fear that she'll hear me. But seriously, this is amazing! What a glorious day!

Other than being pacifier (shhhhhh!) free for the past two days, we have been thoroughly enjoying the warmer weather around here and getting ready for our littlest girl to arrive :)

 ^^jelly season is upon us!!!!!
^^Goodbye snow!!! although, they're calling for some Thursday? I refuse to believe it.
^^We're the best people to ride the elevator with... to every single floor. We're lucky if we don't set off the alarms.
^^Hey doc, can you put some of that jelly on my belly?

I'm feeling a lot more prepared this week for our baby girl's arrival! I finally busted out the good ole breast pump, bottles and millions of little parts. We hit up Ikea yesterday to get Hadley her own dresser and a few other things for the house, like this play table that she is really digging already! The nursery and Hadley's big girl room are now almost complete!!!! I have a few art projects to finish up and some other things to hang on the walls and we are DONE.

I can't wait to show you guys!

Their rooms' are now officially my favorite spaces in the house. I can't wait to snuggle and nap and play and feel the breeze through the windows and probably get pooped on and dance and sing and definitely get pooped on and create so many great memories in them with my two girlies :)

Today marks 37 weeks for our littlest Thompson gal.

I've been having lots of braxton hicks contractions this time around, mostly at night time. Luckily I've still been able to fall asleep alright so that's a big THANK GOD. My waddle is getting more ridiculous by the day. Even my mom made fun of me yesterday and that's when you really know you've hit ROCK BOTTOM!!!! The consensus seems to be that this girl may pop out earlier than 40 weeks but we will see. Based on the urges I've had to finish every to-do item around the house and obsessively clean her room, I wouldn't be surprised!

^^Remember those little booties I mentioned from Little Hip Squeaks?

We're having a little shower for her this weekend so we'll either be celebrating her in the womb, out of the womb or maybe my water will break while I'm housing all the donuts, WHO KNOWS?!

I think Hadley is going to be just as excited we are to meet her little sis! Look how sweet she is taking care of her baby doll!!!!

I can't wait to see her with the real thing :)

My heart may/will definitely EXPLODE.
