How's it hangin?
I don't know what it is about this year but I am slow to get into the Fall/Halloween groove. Thankfully we've already come up with our Halloween costumes and I am super pumped about it! Why do you ask?!!! Well for one thing, I'm not sewing the entire thing like an IDIOT. I made Hadley's costumes for her first and second Halloweens. The beer was easy but the Monsters Inc. was a very curse-filled saga. So this year, I said NO NO NO.
We're going with something a little edgier than anything I've done in the past so I'm really gonna go with it. Like lots of fake blood go with it. HE HE HE. I can't wait!
Earlier this week we hit up our first pumpkin patch and acquired some farm goodies. It was a beautiful day for a little picnic and Hadley kept creeping in on all the other family photos going on. I'm pretty sure she photobombed at least 4 different families. It was uncomfortable and hilarious all at the same time.
^^This reminds me so much of one year ago when we had a little pumpkin patch photo shoot with Hadley and announced we we're pregnant with Nora! I can't believe how big this girl is (insert WAHHHH emoji face here).
The girls have been having so much fun lately. Nora is sitting up like a champ which makes play time better than ever. She flings herself forward to crawl all the time but so far we've just got a lot of face plants to show for it. I can't wait to watch them chase each other!!!
I'd like to hit a bunch more pumpkin patches in the area before Halloween rolls around. My new mom friend informed me that Frederick, MD has a corn maze shaped as Taylor Swift so that is
D E F I N I T E L Y
on the bucket list. I mean.. is it just her face? A full figure corn maze? I don't have these answers for you but I WILL investigate.
You can keep up with us over on Instagram to see our day-to-day happenings @larrythomp. Which I know sounds like a man's Instagram but it's me, okay guys?
Until we meet again,
