I think every year around this time is going to feel a little like this.. crazy!
Since celebrating Nora's birthday in early April then planning for Memorial Day weekend, Josh's family visiting and then Hadley's 3rd birthday.. everything has felt a little nutso and time is just flying! I can't believe we're already so far into June.
Summer, slow down!
But we've been enjoying the sunshine (goodbye rain!) around these parts and when I look at these pictures of my girls, I can't believe I have a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old.
They're interacting, playing, fighting and loving on each other so much lately. I love seeing their bond continue to grow and catching them chatting & giggling when I'm not in the room. It always feels like I'm spying on this unknown world that will be all theirs in the years to come. It puts the biggest smile on my face, seeing them come together as sisters.
We've been enjoying our woods, the new blooms, butterflies, dragonflies and hummingbirds.
The hummingbirds have been my favorite.
The splash pad & pool at the DC Navy Yard is still one of our favorite spots to visit in this warm weather. It's so fun seeing pictures of Hadley through the years at this same spot and now seeing her playing with her baby sister there, too. You can see more about this awesome place in this post from two years ago.. baby Hadley!!
^^Those long locks are killing me! Such a big girl.
Here's to some more sunny days & lots of play time!
